Renting near King’s College London

Start with your teaching building. Strand, Waterloo and Guy’s are separate campuses on both sides of the Thames; King’s also uses other sites. Use the campus choices below to compare areas and current private rental homes.

Choose the right starting point

Where should I rent for my King's campus?

Choose your actual teaching campus first. Strand, Waterloo and Guy's are different destinations, and some courses use other sites. Compare the full route from the building entrance, not just a postcode or a station.

These homes are currently marked on market. Check the full journey to your teaching building: some options require public transport. Rent is for the whole apartment, with bills excluded; availability must be reconfirmed.

Can one flat work for Strand, Waterloo and Guy’s?

It may, depending on your timetable and the exact address. Check each required journey separately, including the river crossing and walks from the station. Send Valerio your main campus and any other regular teaching site so the shortlist can prioritise the journeys you actually make. These are private rentals, not university-approved accommodation.

Campus and area comparison

Areas are starting points; verify journeys from the actual address.
Campus Areas to compare What to check
Strand / Aldwych Holborn · Blackfriars · South Bank Check river crossings and the final walk.
Waterloo Waterloo · Southwark · Elephant & Castle Plan to your actual course building.

The listing examples below show whole-home rents, not area averages. Bills are excluded; reconfirm prices and availability.

Compare the full journey

Check your department’s teaching locations, building entrances and timetable. If you study at more than one campus, test each journey using the same home address. Include walking, river crossings, interchange and the journey home after evening classes.

Compare areas and current homes

Start with Blackfriars, Bermondsey or Elephant & Castle where the journey fits your campus. The campus buttons above open current search results; they do not mean that every home is adjacent to the university. If nothing fits, ask for alternatives rather than assuming an archived listing is still available.

Your whole-home budget

Advertised rent is for the whole home, with bills excluded. Add utilities, internet, transport and Council Tax where applicable. Our listed homes use a five-week tenancy deposit. A two-bedroom rent is not the per-person price, and sharing depends on the permitted household and referencing.

Read the international-student questions, guarantor options and rental rules from 1 May 2026 before applying.

What to send with a shortlist request

Tell Valerio your exact King’s campus and teaching building, move-in date, whole-home monthly budget, bedroom needs and number of people. Mention any other teaching site and whether you need help checking guarantor requirements. Do not attach passports or financial documents to the initial enquiry. Remote viewings can be arranged where access allows.
